Grand Palace

Our Bangkok light up tour is designed for guests who love the extraordinary, who want to see the splendor of the historic buildings such as Wat Saket also called Golden Mount.
China Town
A sea of lights awaits you on this tour. Immerse yourself in a dazzling glow of red-printed cloths, lanterns and large billboards with Chinese characters. In particular, however, the food stalls, whose owners do their best and offer traditional Thai and Chinese specialties here. We roam with you through the streets of China Town, where the Chinese were resettled from the area of the Grand Palace to the narrow Thanon Wanit in 1782. The red-light district of the time was here and the so-called “opium dens” were also to be found here. Of course we go to the Paifang which marks the entrance to China Town and which is illuminated in the evening. A historic square where the mighty landmark stands.
Wat Arun
The Wat Arun Ratchawararam Ratchaworamaha Wihan, also called Temple of Dawn the Temple of Dawn, is in the evening a prominent point on the River, which you can see from afar, very beautifully lit he is a special sight and the target of many photographers who make night photos of him. Also the dinner cruise boats pass close in the evening hours, as this is a highlight for the guests. We also go to the middle of the River on our Klong tours, from where the best photos can be taken. The Phra Prang was built in the Ayuttaya period to the height of 16 meters and then was raised under Rama II to the height of about 67 meters. Next to Wat Arun is the old royal palace in Wichayen Fort, which guarded the entrance to the interior.
King Rama I. Monument
Our next destination is the Flower Market, which we will of course visit during the evening hours, as it is especially busy at night as new merchandise is delivered for the next day. But the main focus of our tour is the illuminated landmarks in Bangkok and here in this area you can admire the illuminated monument of Rama I, who founded the Bangkok dynasty. Behind the monument you will catch sight of the green steel bridge, the Memorial Bridge, which leads to Thonburi and is also illuminated in the evening. Look past the monument on the right and you will see on the opposite foot, the sloping stupa of Wat Prayun, also called Turtle Temple, in full illumination.
Golden Mount Wat Saket
Our journey continues in the direction of Wat Saket also called Golden Mount, which was built on an artificial hill. This temple is in the darkness the absolute “jewel” since the golden top shines particularly intensively and is already to be seen from afar. If you are on a roof top in Bangkok, like the Millenium Hilton Hotel or Lebu State Tower, where by the way the movie Hang over was shot, you can see the golden Mount as the central point. Of the original 14 forts that protected the old city of Bangkok, only Fort Pom Mahakan, which stands near the Golden Mount, and Fort Phra Sumen to the east remain.
Democracy Monument
The Democracy Monument is a Bangkok landmark and is located in the middle of the traffic circle on Thanon Ratchadamnoen Klang at the Thanon Dinso intersection, in the Phra Nakhon district, about halfway between the Sanam Luang and Golden Mount. Not far away is also Kho San Road, where we will go later. The monument was commissioned and built in 1939 by Major General Phibun to commemorate the 1932 “Siamese Revolution” overthrow that led to the establishment of constitutional monarchy in the then Kingdom of Siam.
Khao San Road
The Khao San Road, formerly a large street market in which mainly rice from all parts of the country was delivered and sold. Gradually, the place became a tourist attraction especially for backpackers. An international crowd of all ages meets here. A multicultural street where everything is offered such as traditional food, clothing and assesuars, live music and much more. Thai specialties that are freshly prepared according to ancient tradition, you have here in great Auswa, here also find the very brave insects to eat or black scorpions. If you visit the small streets you will see beautiful murals.
