Top View Point Pattaya mit Chumphonket Udomsak Monument
We as local insiders, be it in Bangkok or but also in Pattaya show you interesting sights with historical facts. We don’t do it like the other providers and take you quickly by speedboat to an island that is overcrowded with tourists, but we take you past it and show you the natural beauties and special features of this country, especially in the Pattaya area. First we show you the city of Pattaya, of which so much is said and heard about old men and young women. We drive to the highest point, the Top View Point, and you can enjoy the view with a cup of coffee. Afterwards we continue our excursion and along the way we see imposing temples and buildings built in honour of Rama the IX for his sixtieth birthday.

Khao chi chan Mounten
From a distance, you can already see the golden outline in the mountain. The figure was created for the fiftieth anniversary of the throne in honour of King Rama IX. In the area of the heart, a relic of the Buddha was let into a hollow. King Rama IX himself prepared the relic for this ceremony and placed it in a container. The image is 109 metres high and 70 metres wide from knee to knee. The Buddha sits on a lotus flower with a height of 21 metres. Total height 130 metres. It took about a year to make this work of art. We then continue on to a Chinese temple which houses a priceless, precious collection of original terracotta warriors, which as a permanent exhibition is something unique in Thailand.

Viharn Sien Pattaya
See original pieces from the year 221 BC of China’s famous terracotta army and the replica of the excavation site as a model. Not only the many figures made of bronze and jade will amaze you. A detailed model of the Great Wall of China shows you the dimensions of this world cultural heritage. Antique musical instruments and wood carvings in precious teak wood are part of the collection. Porcelain dolls in noble robes and elaborate masks are also part of a large collection. The Great Wall of China, partially replicated, is another highlight of this exhibition. You will see beautiful bronze figures spread over three floors with side rooms. The dynasty of the kings of Thailand, from Rama the I to Rama the IX, is also depicted.

Pattaya Beach
Some rooms are furnished with furniture of the royal family, such as a throne or armchair where the king sat and received his subjects. Many pictures of the royal family tell the historical story of Thailand. The large Garuda on the ground floor is the personal emblem of the Thai King. Time has advanced and we drive back to Pattaya and would like to show you the beach or the promenade. A little stroll and the odd opportunity to sample something is in abundance here. This is how we end the day and you have plenty to tell the other guests on your cruise ship. After this beautiful day trip, we will bring you safely back.
